Mission Statement: The Foundation's mission is to support those that change and sustain hurting lives by: Feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, caring for orphans, comforting the afflicted, and building up the next generation

Dickinson Theatres has been led and guided by God to form the Hartland Foundation to reach out to those in need in our community and the world through the abundance He has blessed us with. Started in 2002, Hartland Foundation is Dickinson Theatres' only charitable fund established under the Christian Community Foundation of Kansas City. The Foundation reaches out to support those that change and sustain hurting lives by: Feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, caring for orphans, comforting the afflicted, and building up the next generation. Beneficiaries include: Seton Center Family & Health Services, City Union Mission, Crisis Pregnancy Center, American Cancer Society, Salvation Army, National MS Society, House to House and Deeper Water's Ministries, as well as many more.

Seton Center Family & Health Services "Seton Center has responded to the needs of persons trapped in the complexities of poverty in Kansas City's urban core for over 36 years. Seton provides family support, emergency assistance, senior services, an alternative high school for at-risk inner city youth with a Child Enrichment Center for their infant and toddler children and a full-service dental clinic. In 2004, over 30,000 clients received assistance; 9,600 in the dental clinic alone." www.setonkc.org

Love Mercy Love Mercy founded by pastor and president Noel Alexander, is a non-profit organization dedicated to alleviating the suffering of the poor and the oppressed around the world. The team is committed to bringing hope and help to widows and orphans and children at risk in third world nations, particularly in Kenya. Our mission is to drawl water wells, build community centers, and create micro businesses for the poor of the earth. www.lovemercy.com

City Union Mission City Union Mission is a Christian ministry committed to sharing the gospel and meeting the spiritual, physical and emotional needs of men, women and children who are poor or homeless. Thanks to the compassionate Kansas City community, they have been offering hope for over 80 years! City Union Mission provided over 280,000 meals for the hungry and almost 121,000 beds for the weary in 2004 alone. www.cumission.org

Deeper Water's Ministries Deeper Waters founded in 1993 and directed by Bob Hartley, is a Christian ministry directed to reaching young adults. Located in Grandview, MO., Bob leads national conferences with emphasis on youth ministries and Christian business leaders service in everyday life. Bob is currently developing more instruction on youth and the marketplace.

Crisis Pregnancy Center Offering a viable alternative to those who accept life as God's plan leading them into adoption or raising the child. Services provided are housing, medical, career training in a spiritual environment. Rebecca and Paul Wassmer are the directors at the 5 KC metro center locations.

House to House Ministries in Olathe, KS provides immediate funding and support for crisis situations. Family and individual care are offered for housing, utilities, food, clothing, and transportation on an as needed basis. Pastor Steve Sipp directs the pastoral care for those in need.
