Zendaya explains why she plans to “disappear” after The Odyssey and Spider-Man 4

Omnipresent in 2026 with The Odyssey, Spider-Man 4, Dune 3 and Euphoria, Zendaya now aspires to one thing: to disappear from the radar for a while.

There’s no escaping Zendaya this year.

Between The Drama and season 3 ofEuphoria in spring, The Odyssey by Nolan then Spider-Man: Brand New Day this summer, and in the meantime Dune: Part Three this winter, the actress continued filming and promotional tours.

But once this crazy year is over, she only wants to take it easy.

Asked by Entertainment Tonight during the New York premiere of The Odyssey on her projects after this series of promotions, the actress responded with humor:

“Oh, nothing at all. I’ll just mind my own business and stay quiet…”

She explains that this pace has become exhausting:

“Everything is happening very quickly. It feels like you’re in a new place every five minutes. Sometimes you just need to…disappear for a while.”

A few weeks earlier, in the columns ofSHEZendaya already recognized that 2026 would be “a very long year“, while ensuring to be “really proud of each of these projects”. However, taking a vacation is not necessarily in one’s nature: “As soon as I take a break, I start to go crazy. I say to myself: ‘I have to work…’

After finishing the promotion of Spider-Man 4Zendaya will therefore be able to disappear for a few weeks, but will have to return to promote Dune: Part Threewhich will be released in December. And her schedule is already full for the future, since she will have to take care of Shrek 5of which she joined the vocal cast, in the first half of 2027.
