The trailer for Sanguine unveils a particularly disturbing genre film, in which Mara Taquin (The Worst) plays a young intern confronted with increasingly worrying symptoms.
“Margot begins her internship in the emergency room, where she struggles to adapt. Very quickly, she faced patients her age with unexplained symptoms. The recurrence of these exceptional cases questions her, especially as she observes, on her own body, increasingly worrying manifestations… ” details the synopsis.
Directed by Marion Le Corroller, who also wrote the screenplay with Thomas Pujol, Sanguine also brings together Karin Viard, Kim Higelin and Sami Outalbali.
A first film which therefore promises to mix medicine, horror and mystery, which was presented in the “Midnight Screenings” category at the 2026 Cannes Film Festival.
Sanguine will be released in cinemas on October 28, 2026.
