Filming has started on Chloé Jouannet’s first feature film

It’s the story of a teenager, Jade, a passionate twirler who, in the middle of a competition, will have to face the adults around her to prove to them and to herself that she can win… Between a father out of step with his generation, a coach obsessed with performance and a mother who reappears and an industrious mayor, the young girl composes as best she can despite the complexity of the situation…

A very family project… Chloé Jouannet, the daughter of Alexandra Lamy and the Swiss actor Thomas Jouannet, chooses to feature her loved ones for her first production. We will thus find his aunt Audrey Lamy, his father Thomas Jouannet as well as his little sister Mado Jouannet in the main roles. But also the actor Thomas Gioria (To the hilt, Supernova, Toni with family). Come on girl was co-written with actor and screenwriter Adrien Ménielle, co-host of the successful French podcast, the Floodcast.

Before being a feature, the film began its trajectory as a short film. Released in 2024, it was screened during the 27th edition of the Alpes d’Huez international comedy film festival. Thomas and Mado was also on the bill but without Audrey Lamy…

In 2022, it was his mother, Alexandra Lamy, who directed her very first feature film, Affected. The film, well received by critics, tells the story of a woman victim of domestic violence, Lucie, housed by an association helping women victims of this violence. Chloé Jouannet was in the casting, in one of the main roles.

We can’t wait to see the journey of this new film carried by his daughter, a young director…

The filming of Come on girl began on March 19 and will end on April 30 in the Pays-de-Loire region.
