Percy Jackson officially confirms its season 2
“Lift the anchors. Hoist the mainsail. We’re heading for the Sea of Monsters!”
There wasn’t much suspense, but this time, it’s official: after the great success of season 1, which ended last week, Percy Jackson will return for a season 2.
During its financial report, Disney confirmed that it had officially renewed the adaptation carried by Walker Scobell, Leah Sava Jeffries and Grover Underwood.
“I can’t wait to bring the next season of Percy Jackson to #DisneyPlus! Raise anchors. Hoist the mainsail. All hands on deck, demigods. We’re heading for the Sea of Monsters!”

Incidentally, we also have confirmation that it will be a direct sequel, since it is based on Rick Riordan’s second book, The Sea of Monsters. The writer is jubilant:
“I can’t wait to bring the next season of Percy Jackson to Disney+! Weigh the anchors. Hoist the mainsail. All hands on deck, demigods. We’re heading for the Sea of Monsters!”
It will be recalled that Logan Lerman also played Percy Jackson In The Sea of Monsters in the cinema, in 2013. This marked the end of the franchise on the big screen.
