Percy Jackson: Season 3 trailer reveals a new threat

Percy Jackson returns on November 20 on Disney+ for a third adventure directly inspired by the third volume of Rick Riordan’s saga.

Things are going to get seriously complicated at Camp Half-Blood.

Disney+ has just revealed the first trailer for season 3 of Percy Jackson and the Olympians, expected on November 20 on the platform.

This new season will adapt The Fate of the Titan, third volume of the saga imagined by Rick Riordan. And Percy once again finds himself at the heart of a prophecy that could shake up the world of gods and demigods. “Something bad is coming,” he warns in the trailer, after having a strange dream about the Great Prophecy.

But the danger quickly becomes very real when Annabeth is captured by Kronos’ forces. Percy will then have to embark on a particularly dangerous mission to find her. His journey will notably lead him to free a captive goddess, confront the curse of the Titan and try to prevent the fall of Olympus.

Always accompanied by Grover, Percy will also have to surround himself with new allies to face this quest with potentially disastrous consequences.

Walker Scobell obviously reprises the role of Percy Jackson, alongside Aryan Simhadri as Grover and Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth. Dafne Keen also joins the adventure as the goddess Artemis.

Several already familiar faces will return, including Charlie Bushnell as Luke Castellan, Daniel Diemer as Tyson and Dior Goodjohn as Clarisse La Rue.

But this season will also introduce new gods from Greek mythology, notably Hubert Smielecki in the role of Apollo, Kate McKinnon in that of Aphrodite and Ming-Na Wen in that of Hera.
