According to the Daily Mailthe filmmaker of pulp Fiction will launch his very first play in London, in a West End theater. The play, written entirely by Quentin Tarantino, would not be adapted from any of his films. Still according to the source of Daily Mailit would be a farce in the tradition of Ray Cooney or the famous play Backstage noises, by Michael Frayn (1982).

The project would aim for a major first in 2027, even if an opening at the end of 2026 remains envisaged. The director is currently scouting theaters and thinking about casting… with the idea of attracting big Hollywood stars. The name of Bradley Cooper, who already has solid experience on stage, is being circulated in particular to lead the troupe.

Quentin Tarantino himself leaked the information during the Sundance Film Festival last year:

“If you’re wondering what I’m doing right now, I’m writing a play, and it’ll probably be the next thing I direct. If it’s a flop, I probably won’t make a movie about it. But if it’s a huge success? Then it could become my last movie…”

So, we can’t wait to book our places to see it in London…
