What Happens at Night: first official image for Martin Scorsese’s new film

Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence are currently reunited in the Czech Republic for this highly anticipated new feature film.

A few days ago, the filming of What Happens at Nightthe new Martin Scorsese film has started. And very quickly, photos leaked online.

Apple today revealed the first official image from the film, which reunites Leonardo DiCaprio with the New York filmmaker for their 7th film together. This time he gives the answer to Jennifer Lawrence. Leo sports the famous little mustache he wore last Sunday during the 2026 Oscars.

Apple specifies that filming has just started in the Czech Republic with the support of the Czech Film Commission.

Produced by Apple Studios, and made in partnership with StudioCanal, this dreamlike story follows an American couple who travel to a snowy European city to adopt a child. The film is adapted from the novel of the same name by Peter Cameron.

Martin Scorsese directs and produces for Sikelia Productions.

The distribution of What Happens at Night also includes Patricia Clarkson, Mads Mikkelsen, Jared Harris and Welker White.
