According to The Hollywood Reporter, the actor is secretly working on a spectacular video, directed by Jon M. Chu, the director of Wickedto celebrate the history, legacy and future of Paramount. All part of David Ellison’s grand plan to build a veritable entertainment empire by merging Paramount and Warner Bros.
The project, kept under strict confidentiality, would combine intense scenes and visual creativity. Tom Cruise, known for pushing his limits on Mission: Impossible And Top Gunhere explores new forms of expression, while paying homage to the studio that launched it decades ago.
After the takeover of Paramount by Skydance Media, led by Ellison, the idea is to mark a “new day” for the studio, between historical prestige and futuristic ambitions. Jon M. Chu, who has just signed a “first-look” agreement with Paramount covering films and series, is at the helm to orchestrate this event project…
For the moment, the other celebrities or directors involved remain unknown, as does the target audience: will it be an internal video or a wider release? The mystery remains, but one thing is certain: Tom Cruise and Paramount never do things by halves.
