The Conjuring star joins The Last of Us for season 3
Patrick Wilson will be in the cast, as will Jason Ritter.
Season 3 of The Last of Us is taking shape.
Patrick Wilson, star of the Conjuring and Insidious horror sagas in the cinema, and who was also the villain of Aquaman, has just been recruited for a recurring role in the HBO phenomenon series. He will be Jerry, Abby’s father, a central character played by Kaitlyn Dever.
Furthermore Jason Ritter, a well-known face from the small screen (from Parenthood to Raising Dion via Girls) will lend his features to Hanley, a soldier of the WLF (the Washington Liberation Front).
Another notable development: Ariela Barer, Tati Gabrielle and Spencer Lord officially become regular characters. Introduced in season 2, they respectively play Mel, Nora and Owen, three key figures in the narrative arc linked to the WLF.
The returning cast includes Kaitlyn Dever, Bella Ramsey, Isabela Merced, Gabriel Luna and Jeffrey Wright.
Renewed from 2025 even before the broadcast of its season 2, The Last of Us season 3 does not yet have a broadcast date.
