Resident Evil: Code Veronica will also be entitled to its remake
Capcom has announced the release of the new title in 2027, with a first teaser to support it.

A few months after the release of Resident Evil Requiemthe ninth main episode of the franchise, Capcom confirms the return of another classic with a remake of Resident Evil: Code Veronica.
Baptized Resident Evil: Veronicathis new opus will modernize the cult game released in 2000, while retaining its survival horror DNA. The stated objective is clear: to offer a contemporary reinterpretation of the title for a new generation of players.
The original story followed Claire Redfield and her brother Chris, two iconic figures in the series, as they faced a viral outbreak on a remote prison island in the Southern Ocean, then at a research facility in Antarctica. In this new version, Capcom promises to revisit these events while reimagining the experience, without betraying the essence of the original game. Resident Evil: Veronica will be released on consoles in 2027.
And we will remember that the next film resident Evildirected by Zach Cregger, will be released in theaters in France on September 16.
