Donald Trump wants to “cure” Hollywood stars in a video created by AI

Julia Roberts, Robert De Niro, Rosie O’Donnell and Whoopi Goldberg are the “patients” of a fake Donald Trump doctor in a video generated by artificial intelligence, which is causing a real outcry across the Atlantic.

The war between Hollywood and Donald Trump is far from over.

The current President posted on his network Truth Social an improbable video entirely created by artificial intelligence. It shows Donald Trump transformed into a doctor, claiming to treat several Hollywood celebrities suffering from “Trump Derangement Syndrome”, an expression regularly used by his supporters to describe his most fervent detractors.

“Have you or a loved one been diagnosed with TDS? The symptoms can be relentless…Luckily, I’m Dr. Trump and I have a treatment.“, says the fake Donald Trump at the start of the video.

Then appear deepfake versions of Rosie O’Donnell, Whoopi Goldberg, John Leguizamo, Edward Norton, Julia Roberts and Robert De Niro, who ironically recount their supposed progress after following this “therapy”. The video makes them speak like this:

“I’ve been suffering from it for over ten years and after listening to Dr. Trump, I’m finally seeing results“, says the fake Rosie O’Donnell. “I thought there was no hope for me“, adds the fake John Leguizamo. For his part, the AI-generated version of Whoopi Goldberg explains: “I really thought I was a basket case and that this would haunt me for the rest of my life. But after having this treatment, I see the difference.“

Obviously, these actors were not chosen at random: they are some of the most vehement voices in Hollywood, regularly taking a stand against the current tenant of the White House.

Asked by Entertainment Weekly, White House spokesperson Davis Ingle supported the video, saying: “President Trump is right. Anti-Trump Derangement Syndrome is a debilitating disease that has unfortunately destroyed the brains of many people.”

The celebrities reproduced without their consent have, for the moment, not reacted publicly, with the exception of Rosie O’Donnell, who left the United States after the election of Donald Trump in 2024, responded on Instagram:

“He is seriously ill… and his condition is getting worse every day. The 25th Amendment exists for precisely this kind of situation. Let him be removed from office. Let him be impeached. Let us condemn him!“
