The US President dons the ring in this video released by the White House, which transforms Trump into a DC superhero, surfing the HBO Max series Lanterns.

After taking himself for the Mandalorian from Star Wars, Donald Trump puts on the Green Lantern ring in a new official video, posted by the White House account, hoping to ride on the success of the HBO series Lanterns, currently in progress (in France on HBO Max).

The video shows the American president equipped with the power ring of the Green Lantern Corps as he deploys a gigantic barrier of green energy to prevent migrants from entering the country, symbol of his famous wall on the Mexican border. The montage mixes several images associated with Trump’s political universe: border control, military power and even a light billboard reading “American Manufacturing.”
