Ted Lasso and his “Lady Greyhounds” arrive in FC 27

Ted Lasso, Coach Beard and the AFC Richmond women’s team join EA Sports’ soccer game.

He is finished with his fourth season, but Ted Lasso will already return to the field. Virtual this time.

The world of Ted Lasso invites itself once again into EA Sports FC, with a major novelty: after the AFC Richmond men’s team, it is now the Lady Greyhounds, the women’s team of the fictional club, heroines of this season 4, who arrive in FC 27. Ted Lasso and his faithful Coach Beard will also be there.

Players will be able to find this new team in two game modes: Career Manager and Football Ultimate Team. The first will notably allow you to take control of AFC Richmond Women in the shoes of Ted Lasso, with scripted scenes, pitchside interactions and content inspired by the series.

This crossover extends an already well-established partnership. In 2022, EA brought the AFC Richmond men’s team to FIFA 23, allowing players to lead the club in the game. This time, women’s football is in the spotlight, echoing the new direction the series is taking.
