Lords of War will be released in cinemas in France from January 2027

21 years later, Andrew Niccol reunites with Nicolas Cage for the sequel to his cult thriller. Opposite him, Bill Skarsgård will play his son, determined to follow in his footsteps.

And the business of death is clearly a family affair. Nicolas Cage will return to his role as a legendary arms dealer in Lords of Warthe continuation of Lord of Warwhich will be released in French theaters on January 13, 2027 under the SND banner, reveals Le film français.

At the helm, we will find Andrew Niccol, director and screenwriter of the first film, released in 2005 in the United States and in January 2006 in France.

In this new chapter, Yuri discovers that he has a son, Anton, played by Bill Skarsgård. But the young man does not simply intend to take over his father’s empire: he intends to do better than his father by recruiting his own army of mercenaries to intervene in American conflicts in the Middle East. An ambition which triggers a fierce rivalry between the two men. Laura Harrier notably completes the cast.

Released in France in January 2006, Lord of War had met with great success with 1.3 million entries.
