PREMIERE: What is your personal relationship with the first films Friday the 13th ?
BRAD KANE: The first film in the saga that I saw was Friday the 13th Part IIIreleased in 3D in cinemas in 1982 (Murders in 3 dimensionsfrom its French title). I was much too young… I must have been 8 years old! I clearly remember Jason crushing a guy’s head and his eyes popping out in 3D through the screen (laughs). I remember that everyone in the room, around me, was hysterical. And I started to tell myself that if these kinds of films were capable of causing such excitement in people, this was what I had to do! SO Friday the 13ththat’s probably the reason why I make films and series today…..
