The End of Oak Street will be one of the most exciting blockbusters of summer 2026.
It’s the big return of JJ Abrams to the cinema. The director of Super 8 And Star Wars: The Force Awakens produced this very intriguing science fiction film, signed by the director of It Follows And Under the Silver Lake: David Robert Mitchell. The trailer has just been posted online and shows Anne Hathaway, Ewan McGregor and their children facing an unexplained phenomenon: when a violent storm hits, the entire neighborhood has been transported to the past, to prehistoric times… with dinosaurs now running around the garden!
The End of Oak Street promises to be a great science fiction concept that is as simple as it is disturbing.
“Our house, our neighborhood, our street… Everything has moved,” says the baffled mother in the video below.
The synopsis details: “When a mysterious cosmic event tears Oak Street from its peaceful suburbs and transports it to an unknown place, the Platt family, disoriented in this new hostile environment, quickly understands that they will have to stay united to survive.”
