The Terminator hero dons the red suit for an action-packed Prime Video comedy, alongside the Reacher hero.
Arnold Schwarzenegger will spend Christmas in a red suit. Prime Video has just revealed the trailer for The Man in the Hoodan action comedy in which the former governor of California plays Santa Claus. And to save the holidays, he will have to team up with a thief played by Alan Ritchson, the star of Reacher.
A Christmas adventure about second chances, unlikely friendships and a Santa Claus who, too, sometimes needs a helping hand distributing gifts.
30 years later The Toy Race (1996), Arnold Schwarzenegger makes his return to the genre of end-of-year films… by playing Santa Claus himself!
Directed by Adam Shankman, the film promises a family comedy bringing together two action stars from two different generations.
“When Santa’s iconic red bag is stolen by a rebellious elf with a grudge against him (Awkwafina), Christmas suddenly finds itself under threat. With the biggest night of the year fast approaching, Santa recruits a thief (Ritchson) from his “naughty list,” who quickly assembles a team of criminally talented misfits – with a little help from the elves and reindeer – to pull off the most unexpected heist of their lives” details the synopsis.
Berkeley James, Michael Cyril Creighton, Liza Koshy, Kyle Mooney, Jane Krakowski, as well as Ken Jeong and Awkwafina complete the cast.
The Man in the Hood will be available on December 2, 2026 on Prime Video in France.
