Black Doves season 2: Keira Knightley back in action in the trailer

Keira Knightley takes up arms again in the trailer for season 2 of the Netflix series. All six episodes will be available on November 5.

After a muscular first season, Black Doves returns with a new salvo of espionage and score-settling.

In this trailer, Keira Knightley reunites with her character Helen, still a member of the Black Doves, a secret organization for which she reveals the secrets of her country.

The official synopsis details: “Helen continues to reveal the secrets of her country to the Black Doves, the secret organization for which she works. But after the misadventures of the previous Christmas, and as her husband Wallace (Andrew Buchan) prepares to become Prime Minister, she is moving on slippery terrain than ever. Joan Reed (Sarah Lancashire), Helen’s mysterious manager, finds herself trapped in a ruthless plot that aims to undermine her position within the Doves In their quest for answers, allegiances become weapons, trust is shattered and the desire to protect those they love could cost them everything they have. past, and straight towards the black doves…”

Season 2 will also feature Andrew Buchan, Kathryn Hunter, Ella Lily Hyland, Gabrielle Creevy, Agnes O’Casey, Ambika Mod, Babou Ceesay, Sam Riley, Neve Campbell, Sylvia Hoeks, Goran Kostic and Samuel Barnett.

Created and written by Joe Barton, Black Doves season 2 will be made up of six one-hour episodes, all available on Netflix on November 5.
