Brendan Fraser prepares for D-Day: Pressure trailer

The Oscar winner plays Eisenhower opposite Andrew Scott in this film about a key episode of the Second World War.

After Rental FamilyBrendan Fraser will be back at the end of 2026 with Pressurea film that tells the story of the Normandy landings from the perspectives of a meteorologist, James Stagg, and the commander of the Allied forces, Dwight D. Eisenhower. Pressure recounts the enormous pressure endured by the two men during the 72 hours preceding the landing.

The cast includes Brendan Fraser in the role of Eisenhower and Kerry Condon in that of his secretary, as well as Andrew Scott in the role of James Stagg and Damian Lewis as a British officer.

After the drama Attacks in Mumbai (2018) which retraced the terrorist attacks in the city of Bombay in November 2008, Australian director Anthony Maras, relates another major historical event, the historic landing of June 6, 1944.

Between sky and sea, the film is revealed in a nervous and bloody trailer reflecting this battle which marked the Second World War.

Synopsis: “In the seventy-two hours before D-Day, British chief meteorologist James Stagg is called upon to provide the most important forecast in history so that the Allies can land on the beaches of Normandy.
