David Tennant joins season 6 of Only Murders in the Building
The former Doctor Who arrives in the detective comedy alongside an impressive wave of new British recruits.
After five seasons and dozens of prestigious guests, from Meryl Streep and Paul Rudd to Tina Fey, Only Murders in the Building continues its prestigious recruitment.
The cast for season 6 of Only Murders in the Building has just been announced. Filming is currently in the United Kingdom, and the police comedy starring Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez will see the arrival of new distinguished guests, headlined by David Tennant.
The unforgettable Doctor Who interpreter, recently seen in Rivals, or in Good Omens, joins the series in a role still kept secret. As always with Only Murders in the Building, character details are carefully kept under lock and key.
Around him, Hulu has also recruited Nicola Coughlan (Bridgerton), Jodie Whittaker (Doctor Who), Jim Broadbent, Richard Ayoade, Kathryn Hunter and Adrian Lukis. A veritable British armada which will accompany the heroes of the series in their new investigation.
This sixth season will indeed mark a major change of scenery. After the events of the season 5 finale, Charles, Oliver and Mabel will cross the Atlantic to continue their investigations into the death of Cinda Canning.
Other recruits already announced include Martin Freeman, Geri Halliwell, Jamie Demetriou, Jennifer Saunders, Sharon Horgan and Simone Ashley. Enough to confirm the international ambition of this new burst of episodes.
