The countdown is on for Dom Toretto’s farewell.

Vin Diesel shared a video filmed on the set of Fast Foreverthe eleventh and final part of the saga Fast & Furiousexpected in theaters on March 15, 2028 in France.

On Instagram, the actor appears in the middle of filming and thanks fans for their patience after several years of waiting.

I’m on set. The teams are working hard. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you. You are the best audience in the world. You have been patient with the industry, with the studio and with me. For three and a half years, we have been giving our all to deliver the most incredible finale possible.


During this long development, Vin Diesel explains that he had the opportunity to devote himself to other projects, notably the film Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robotswhich he will perform and co-write for Mattel Studios. But he assures that the support of the fans has never wavered. “Through it all, one thing is certain: I feel your support, and it means a lot to me. Now I’m going back to filming, and I hope to make you all proud.

Launched in 2001, the franchise Fast & Furious became one of the highest-grossing films in Universal’s history, grossing more than $7 billion at the worldwide box office. With Fast Foreverthe saga now intends to conclude nearly three decades of action, stunts, heists… and the Toretto family.
