House of Guinness will have a season 2 on Netflix
Between family rivalries, power struggles and pints of beer, the Guinness saga continues to unfold.
Netflix hits another barrel.
The adventure continues for House of Guinness. Netflix has officially given the green light to a season 2 of the series created by Steven Knight, the father of Peaky Blinders.
Production of the new episodes is expected to begin in early 2027.
Launched in September 2025, House of Guinness immerses us in Ireland in the 1860s, at the heart of one of the most powerful families in the country. After the death of patriarch Sir Benjamin Guinness, beer magnate and builder of the Guinness empire, his heirs embark on a merciless war of succession to take control of the family business and expand their influence.
It’s true: HOUSE OF GUINNESS is returning for season 2, although Netflix is staying silent for now, and it’s planning to shoot in early 2027.

Carried by Anthony Boyle, Louis Partridge, Emily Fairn and Fionn O’Shea, the series quickly found its audience thanks to its mix of family drama, all-consuming ambitions and political tensions, a mix between Succession and Peaky Blinders, with a generous Irish moss on top.
And maybe this is just the beginning. Shortly after the series’ release, Knight told the Irish Mirror of his ambition to develop House of Guinness over several decades. “We are going to do seasons 2, 3 and 4… We want to tell this story back to the 1960s,” he explained at the time.
It remains to be seen what the screenwriter’s involvement will be in this new burst of episodes. Steven Knight is currently busy finalizing the script for the next James Bond film, a project that could limit his day-to-day presence on House of Guinness.
