With its kids on bikes, its red and blue colorimetry and its fields as far as the eye can see, between Stranger Things And AND the alien, Kyma, the mysterious wave mixes horror, fantasy and supernatural. The feature film toured festivals, from the Brussels Fantastic Film Festival to the European Fantastic Film Festival in Strasbourg, always receiving a positive reception. It is described by the magazine So Film like the “(l)he revival of French fantasy”.
This is the very first film by French director Romain Daudet-Jahan, after several successful short films (Colony, Magnetic Fields).
In the cast, we will find the young Jules Lefebvre, Lucy Loste Berset and Mamadou Haïdara.
Synopsis: “Tony, a lonely teenager, is passionate about animals, he sees his existence turned upside down when he meets a mysterious creature in his small village: the Kyma, a living sound wave capable of breaking matter. Tony tames it, without realizing the danger it represents…”
