New superheroes revealed in set photos from James Gunn’s Superman

Superman continues to animate downtown Cleveland. The Warner Bros. production continues outdoors and as a result, new photos have leaked online. They reveal the first glimpses of two new superheroes Hawkgirl And Guy Gardner.

Isabela Merced plays Hawkgirl in costume in these stolen shots, while Nathan Fillion will be the Green Lantern Guy Gardner. They appear here in a scene with David Corenswetaka Superman.

Fans were quick to note that Hawkgirl and Gardner’s costumes feature a “Lordtech” logo, a reference to the DC Comics character Maxwell Lord, who is none other than the manager of the Justice League International.

In the casting David Corenswet (Clark Kent) will be surrounded by Rachel Brosnahan (Lois Lane), Nicholas Hoult (Lex Luthor), Edi Gathegi (Mister Terrific), Skyler Gisondo (Jimmy Olsen), Anthony Carrigan (Metamorpho), Maria Gabriela de Faria (The Engineer), Terence Rosemore (Otis), Isabela Merced (Hawkgirl), Nathan Fillion (Guy Gardner) and Milly Alcock (Supergirl).

The release of the film Superman of James Gunn is scheduled for July 9, 2025.
