After the road dispute between Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, season 2 of Acharnés will change the focus and tell us a duel of generations. “A new quarrel when a Generation Z couple witnesses a violent argument between their millennial boss and his wife” already promises the synopsis.

With the trailer which has just been revealed, we understand better: Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny play Austin and Ashley, a young couple employed in the ultra-elitist world of a country club, who one evening witness a violent altercation between their boss and his wife, Josh and Lindsay, played by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan. They will do everything to calm the story down…

This new season of Beef also welcomes Yuh-Jung Youn, Oscar winner for Minari, in the role of Madame Park, as well as Song Kang-ho, revealed in Parasite, who plays Dr. Kim.

The season will consist of 8 30-minute episodes. Creator Lee Sung Jin returns as showrunner and executive producer.

Beef or Acharnés is the first Netflix series produced by the A24 studio. Released April 16, 2026 on Netflix.
