Ryan Reynolds finally wants to make another Deadpool movie

“And then, yes… there will be another Deadpool, one day!”

A few months ago, Ryan Reynolds assured that he no longer wanted to do Dead Pool the main hero of a new film. But the actor seems to have changed his mind.

Guest of the Fanatics Fest this week, the interpreter of Mercenary Disert confirmed that a new feature film dedicated to Deadpool would eventually see the light of day.

“There are still some very little-known elements of the comics that have never been adapted for film. There are also stories written by Fabian Nicieza or Gerry Duggan that I love and that we could use. And then, yes… there will be another Dead PoolA day. It will be great!”

The American press goes further and assures that the project has even already been launched at Marvel Studios. Deadline cites sources as saying “the film is currently in the preliminary stages of development. It does not yet have a writer or director.”

A strange turnaround, compared to the comments made last April by the star.

At the time, following the immense success of Deadpool & Wolverinewhich exceeded $1.3 billion in revenue, Ryan Reynolds explained that he no longer wanted to put the mutant at the center of new films: “I’ve already started writing some things, but I don’t think I want to make Deadpool the main character anymore. He’s a character that works better within a group.”

We therefore understand, between the lines, that this Deadpool 4 in reflection would be more of an choral film.
