The promo for season 3 of House of the Dragon is launched
The first official poster is online and promises the first trailer for today.
While A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a hit, HBO is already preparing the ground for the return of House of the Dragon.
The adventures of Dunk & Egg are coming to an end, and the studio intends to build on this success by revealing the very first trailer for season 3 today (it will be at 5 p.m. French time).
The official poster already teases Rhaenyra Targaryen, played by Emma D’Arcy, sitting on the Iron Throne, accompanied by the chilling tagline: “From fire comes darkness”. From Fire comes darkness. This is promising.

HBO also confirms that season 3 will return in June, and that a fourth season will definitively conclude the series.
Season 3 will feature the main cast: Emma D’Arcy (Rhaenyra), Matt Smith (Daemon), Olivia Cooke (Alicent), Rhys Ifans (Otto), Steve Toussaint (Corlys), and many others.
The promo also goes through the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Brooklyn Bridge in New York where the Targaryen banners have been raised (digitally, and not for real, don’t worry).
Season 3 of House of the Dragon will be released in June 2026, on HBO Max in France.
