Lincoln Defense already renewed for season 5

This season 5 will be based on the novel Resurrection Walk by Michael Connelly, published in 2023.

Good news for fans of legal series: Netflix has already renewed The Lincoln Defense for a season 5… even before season 4 went online.

This season 5 will be based on Resurrection Walk (published in 2023) and will have 10 episodes.

Season 4 of The Lincoln Defense (adaptation of The Law of Innocence by Michael Connelly) will be released on Netflix on February 5, 2026, with all 10 episodes available from that day.

“We are so excited to share the fourth season with audiences on February 5, and even more excited to announce that we are already working on the next one,” said co-showrunners Ted Humphrey and Dailyn Rodriguez. “Season 4 is the most challenging and intimate journey we’ve taken Mickey Haller on yet, and we’re thrilled and grateful to be able to continue the journey with Season 5!”

The official pitch for season 4: Mickey Haller (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) faces his most complicated case to date. Accused of the murder of a former client, Sam Scales, he must, with his team, prove his innocence. Problem: to clear his name, he will have to uncover Scales’ latest scam… and find himself facing the prosecutor’s office, the FBI, and the ghosts of his own past…
