Tim Burton announces his third animated film
While season 2 on Wednesday arrives, the director is already thinking about it.
Passing through Mexico City to inaugurate an immersive labyrinth devoted to its universe, Tim Burton took the opportunity to talk about the rest of his career … and his next film.
In an interview with local media Mileniothe director of Batman And Edward with silver hands revealed that he was currently working on a animation projectwithout saying much more.
“I hope to have a scenario soon. Then we’ll see. But it’s a project that excuses me enormously”he said.

This new film will follow the critical and public success of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice (released in 2024), a long -awaited suite of the 1988 classic.
It will be the third animated film directed by Tim Burton After Funeral wedding (2005) or Frankenweenie (2012). Accustomed to hitchhiking animation, Burton had also produced and developed the legendary Strange Christmas of Mr. Jack (1993), directed by Henry Selick.
During this public intervention, the filmmaker also shared an anecdote on his creation method:
“The cemeteries have always appeased and inspired me. It is a place where I was often going to think.”
