Jason Bateman and David Harbor reunited in an HBO series: trailer
A criminal mini-series with sharp black humor, DTF St. Louis will be available to watch from March.
Sex, lies and homicides!
HBO has just revealed the trailer for DTF St. Louis, its new crime mini-series, which will bring together Jason Bateman and David Harbour.
Freshly released from Stranger Things, former sheriff Hopper will not lead the investigation this time, since he will be the victim, as shown immediately in the official trailer.
Bateman and Harbor play Clark and Floyd, two suburban fathers bored with routine. Their lives are turned upside down when they come across the DTF St. Louis dating app, which promises to “spice up your life”… (DTF stands for “Down To Fuck”).
Both men are seduced by the attractive options offered by the application. Floyd also explains that his nickname, “Rock Solid”, comes from the fact that he considers himself “a rather reliable person”. But Clark already seems to be eyeing Floyd’s wife, played by Linda Cardellini. Quickly, things go wrong… and lead to a lifeless body. “No one is normal,” says Peter Sarsgaard, sporting a line of eyeliner. “It only appears at the neighbor’s house, across the street.”
With a biting and more sarcastic tone than HBO’s usual crime dramas, DTF St. Louis will have 7 episodes, written and directed by Steven Conrad (Patriot). The cast also includes Richard Jenkins (Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story), Joy Sunday (Wednesday), Arlan Ruf and Chris Perfetti (Abbott Elementary).
The series will be broadcast from Sunday March 1. It should be visible in France on HBO Max.
