A very cool first 70’s trailer for Cliff Booth
Brad Pitt reprises his role as a stuntman from Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in this Netflix film by David Fincher.
Netflix sprung a surprise during the 2026 Super Bowl by revealing a first-ever look at Brad Pitt reprising the role of stuntman Cliff Booth in the highly anticipated film The Adventures of Cliff Boothdirect sequel to Once Upon a Time in Hollywood by Quentin Tarantino.
This short teaser, carried by retro music, shows Cliff Booth in absolute cool mode: he now wears a mustache, leaning on the bar, roaming the backstage of a film set, or even at the wheel of a derby car going at full speed. The montage also aligns images of naked women, cigarettes, middle fingers, firearms and insults, immediately masked by a deliberately mischievous censorship gag.
Elizabeth Debicki and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II both appear in Old Hollywood outfits, while a sneak shot shows Cliff placing an Oscar on his desk.
Introduced for the first time in 2019 in Tarantantino’s original film, the stuntman, as charismatic as he is nonchalant, is back for new adventures.
But a major change behind the camera: if Quentin Tarantino wrote the screenplay, he chose to entrust the production to David Fincher, preferring to concentrate on the preparation of his highly anticipated tenth and final film.
The project also marks a new reunion between David Fincher and Netflix, after their collaboration on the series Mindhunter and the movies Mank And The Killer.
On the production side, Quentin Tarantino works alongside Brad Pitt, David Heyman, Ceán Chaffin and Stacey Sher.
No release date yet. Netflix just writes “coming soon” in its video, suggesting a release sometime in 2026, on a date yet to be determined.
