Medicine and good humor: the new season of Scrubs unveils its trailer
More than twenty years after its debut, the medical comedy is back in action with its legendary faces and a few new interns, to set the mood in the corridors of the Sacré-Cœur.
They haven’t lost any of their good humor!
The doctors in Scrubs have grown up, they have aged, they are no longer students at all. But they’re still so cool and fun. This is what emerges from the first trailer for the new season of Scrubs, which immediately puts us back in the atmosphere of Sacred Heart Medical Center. This 10th season, which comes out 17 years after the previous one, promises a euphoric mix between old delusions and new interns…
According to the synopsis: “In the revival, JD and Turk are back in the lab together for the first time in a long time: medicine has changed, the interns have changed, but their bromance has lasted through the years.”
The video shows for the first time Zach Braff, Donald Faison and Sarah Chalke returning to their roles as John “JD” Dorian, Christopher Turk and Elliot Reid. Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley reprise their roles as Carla Espinosa and Perry Cox, for guest appearances.
The trailer also introduces the new faces joining the Scrubs universe, played by Vanessa Bayer, Joel Kim Booster, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi and Amanda Morrow.
This Scrubs revival is developed and produced by Bill Lawrence, the original creator.
This new season of Scrubs is scheduled for February 25 on ABC, in the United States, with the first two episodes posted online at once, then one per week. It will be seen on Disney + in France but a priori not immediately (date to be confirmed).
