“Who can guess before the end of the game who will eat who?”

It will be one of the French series competing at Séries Mania 2026, next March. And at the same time, Privilèges will be put online on the HBO platform, from March 27. For the occasion, the network unveils the official trailer (below).

In this new French creation from the streamer, we will see Manon Bresch facing Melvil Poupaud for a game of power and manipulation within a grand Parisian Palace.

“Behind the scenes of a Parisian palace, the Citadel, Adèle (Bresch), a young inmate lands a job as a baggage handler thanks to the reintegration program set up by the all-powerful director of the hotel, Édouard Galzain (Poupaud). A tacit pact is formed between them, propelling the young woman into an underground power game where ambitious employees, influential clients and external networks each seek to gain the upper hand. Little by little, she transforms her survival in ascension and establishes itself as an unpredictable and essential force, ready to seize, or tear away, the place it feels it deserves” details the synopsis.

Nina Zem, Zar Amir, Anne Azoulay, Sandor Funtek, Joseph Olivennes and Stéphanie Atala complete the cast.

Privilèges is created, written and directed by Marie Monge and Vladimir de Fontenay, and produced by Hugo Gélin.
