Lee Cronin has already announced the color. Its Mummy will not be a fun Egyptian adventure. Nothing to do with The Mummy 4currently in development at Universal, and which will bring together Brendan Fraser and Rachel Weisz in 2028.

The story of a “young girl who disappeared in the Egyptian desert mysteriously reappears eight years later. But the reunion quickly turns into a nightmare. As her behavior becomes more and more worrying, her family launches into a race against time to understand the origin of evil. What they will discover goes beyond anything they imagined.”
The film stars Jack Reynor, Laia Costa, May Calamawy, Natalie Grace, and Veronica Falcón.
The Mummy Awakens will be released in cinemas on April 15 in France.
