Crocodiles, condoms, football and two marketing managers: the quirky trailer for Balls Up promises a colorful comedy worthy of Farrelly. Or the whole self of one of the two brothers behind Dumb and Dumbr and Mary at all costssince now they are pursuing careers separately.
Peter Farrelly continues solo after having already signed (without Bobby) the farce Ricky Stanickyfor Prime Video (in 2024). Still for the Amazon streaming platform, he directed Balls upnamed after the condom that two salespeople want to offer as sponsorship for the World Cup… A crazy and daring idea that will turn into a crazy road trip to Brazil.
On the casting side, we will find Mark Wahlberg and Paul Walter Hauser who play the main roles, Daniela Melchior (The Suicide Squad) or Molly Shannon (Saturday Night Live).
Synopsis: “Marketers Brad and Elijah go all out and propose a bold condom sponsorship partnership with the World Cup. After a drunken celebration in Brazil sparks a global scandal, they must flee angry fans and criminals so they can save their careers…and return home alive.”
Balls Up will be available in France on April 15 on Video bonus.
