Netflix will end The Night Agent after season 4

After a thunderous start, the spy series gradually fell into line with its seasons 2 and 3. Netflix has therefore decided to say stop: it will stop with its season 4, currently in production in Los Angeles for Netflix.

The announcement was made on Monday by the platform, confirming that this next chapter will be the last. Enough to offer a definitive conclusion to the adventures of Peter Sutherland, played by Gabriel Basso.

“Since the initial success of The Night Agent, I have been obsessed with delivering a worthy and thrilling conclusion to the series and Peter Sutherland’s journey,” says creator Shawn Ryan. “I am extremely grateful to Netflix and Sony Pictures Television for allowing me to tell this ending the way it was meant to be told for our fans around the world. We are working hard to conclude our story with an unforgettable final season.”

On the casting side, Gabriel Basso will once again lead the dance, accompanied by Titus Welliver, Trevante Rhodes, Li Jun Li and Elizabeth Lail, who join the adventure for this final season.
