Anya Taylor-Joy returns to TV in Lucky: trailer

A new prestigious series for Apple TV.

She made a name for herself by shining in Queen’s Game, on Netflix. Anya Taylor-Joy is back on the small screen in a brand new prestigious series, this time for Apple TV.

In Lucky, she will play a robber forced to take flight. “When a multi-million dollar heist goes wrong, Lucky has no choice but to flee. With the FBI and a ruthless crime lord on his trail, Lucky must fight for his survival.”

The series also stars Annette Bening, Timothy Olyphant, Aunjanue Ellis-Taylor, Drew Starkey, Clifton Collins Jr. and William Fichtner.

The series is adapted from the novel of the same name by Marissa Stapley.

Created by Jonathan Tropper, also showrunner alongside Cassie Pappa, the first two episodes of Lucky will be available on Wednesday, July 15 on Apple TV, followed by one episode each week until August 19.
