In Your Footsteps Gives Harlan Coben the Best Series Launch of the Year on Netflix

Another hit for Harlan Coben on Netflix.

Its new adaptation, Sur tes traces (I Will Find You in original version), achieved the best start for a new series on the platform in 2026.

The thriller recorded no less than 24 million views in just four days of availability and immediately rose to the top of Netflix’s Top TV worldwide list for the week of June 15 to 21.

The series is led by Sam Worthington, who plays David Burroughs, a father sentenced to life in prison for the murder of his son five years earlier. The story changes when his sister-in-law, Rachel, played by Britt Lower, brings him shocking proof: her child could still be alive. David then discovers a vast conspiracy and escapes from prison to try to uncover the truth.

In Your Footsteps is part of the long-standing partnership between Harlan Coben and Netflix. The platform has already adapted thirteen of his novels and is currently preparing a series dedicated to his famous character Myron Bolitar.

The success of the writer cannot be denied. Its previous adaptation, I Miss You (Run Away), remained in the Netflix Top 10 worldwide for four weeks and had accumulated 38 million views over this period.
