New images for Shaun the Sheep 3 and the Halloween Beast
The stop-motion saga returns this fall for an adventure as funny as it is frightening, focused on Halloween and monsters.
After seven years of absence from the big screen, Shaun the Sheep is finally preparing to make his comeback.
New images of Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Halloween have just been revealed, offering a first look at this third cinematic adventure produced by the stop-motion animation geniuses at Aardman Animations (well known for Wallace & Groomit).
This time, we’re heading to Mossy Bottom Farm in the middle of Halloween. According to the official synopsis, “the farm’s residents rejoice in the festivities until the clumsy Farmer trashes the flock’s beloved pumpkins. When Shaun turns into a mad scientist to solve the problem, things go awry: the Farmer disappears and a wild beast prowls the woods.”
The first images confirm this monster movie atmosphere, with a mad scientist version of Shaun, ready to embark on an experiment which seems to have serious consequences.
In terms of voice casting, fans of the franchise will find Justin Fletcher, John Sparkes and Kate Harbour, who have lent their voices to the different characters since the first film released in 2015.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Halloween is directed by Steve Cox and Matthew Walker, who are making their first feature film here. The screenplay is written by Mark Burton and Giles Pilbrow, while Nick Park, the creator of Shaun and Wallace & Gromitis once again involved as executive producer.
The franchise was born from the popular British series imagined by Nick Park and Aardman Animations. The first film, Shaun the Sheep, the moviewon over the public in 2015 before being followed in 2019 by Shaun the Sheep: The Farm Strikes Backan adventure tinged with science fiction.
Shaun the Sheep: The Beast of Halloween will be released in French theaters on October 21, 2026, just in time for the All Saints’ Day holidays.
