Enola Holmes 4? Millie Bobby Brown is already in
No sequel has yet been made official by Netflix. But the star of the saga assures that she will return without hesitation if the streamer decides to continue the adventure.
While Enola Holmes 3 has just been released on Netflix, eyes are already on a possible fourth film.
Interviewed by ComicBook, Millie Bobby Brown explained that the future of the franchise depended above all on the success of this third opus:
“I don’t make the decision, it’s not my responsibility. So we will see how this third film will be received already. But yes, I will be back if Netflix wants me… and if Louis Partridge is also there.”
The interpreter of Enola therefore says she is ready to resume her role. On the other hand, she says no to a possible spin-off dedicated to Sherlock and Dr Watson, played in the saga by Henry Cavill and Himesh Patel. She explains:
“I think we especially need more women on screen. So… maybe not!“
If Enola Holmes 4 has not yet been announced, there is no shortage of material. The films are adapted from the novel series The Investigations of Enola Holmes by Nancy Springer. After a relatively faithful first adaptation of the first volume, then a second film combining several plots from the books, Enola Holmes 3 tells an entirely original story written by Jack Thorne.
However, there remain several still unpublished novels to adapt, offering Netflix numerous possibilities if the platform decides to extend the adventures of the young detective and make Enola Holmes 4.
