Songs, romances and Jonas: Camp Rock 3 unveils its first trailer
Nearly twenty years after the first film, Camp Rock is back with a new generation of singers… and the big return of the Jonas Brothers.
Summer vacation will have a taste of nostalgia on Disney+.
Disney has just revealed the first trailer for Camp Rock 3which will relaunch the famous musical franchise revealed in 2008 by the Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato.
The film will air August 13 on Disney Channel, before arriving August 14 on Disney+.
For the occasion, Joe, Nick and Kevin Jonas reprise their roles from Connect 3, while Demi Lovato returns as executive producer. The singer and actress will not, however, reprise the role of Mitchie on screen.
The story begins as the group “Connect 3” is preparing to go on tour again. But when the band loses their opening act, the Gray brothers return to Camp Rock to find the next big star.
The young residents of the camp will then do everything to get the chance to open for their idols. Between rivalries, new friendships, romances and revelations, the competition promises to be as musical as it is moving.
The trailer notably highlights Sage, played by Liamani Segura, who dreams of going on stage with Connect 3. It also allows us to discover a first new title, One Beat Awayalready available on streaming platforms.
This new generation of singers is led by Liamani Segura, Malachi Barton, Lumi Pollack, Hudson Stone, Casey Trotter, Brooklynn Pitts and Ava Jean. Sherry Cola also joins the cast, while Maria Canals-Barrera reprises her role as Connie, Mitchie’s mother.
Directed by Veronica Rodriguez, from a screenplay by Eydie Faye, Camp Rock 3 promises to reconnect with the ingredients that made the saga successful: catchy songs, love stories… and lots of dancing.
