Michael Scott and Dunder Mifflin in Scranton are being replaced by Hannah Howard and Flinley Craddick in Sydney.

This is the kind of trailer that will inevitably generate a maximum of memes with Michael Scott shouting “No, No God, Please No!”

The Office is getting a new remake, and this time, the action will take place in Australia. The trailer has just been released online (below) and reveals a copy-paste version of the Dunder Mifflin office.

Except it’s not a paper company in Pennsylvania anymore, but a packaging company based in Sydney. At the head of this division of Flinley Craddick is a certain Hannah Howard, a wacky manager played by Felicity Wardwho follows in the footsteps of Steve Carrellin this feminized remake where even Dwight is now a woman named Lizze (played by Edith Poor). In the open space, we also find the nice sales representative Nick (Steen Raskopoulos) who will fall in love with Greta (Shari Sebbens).

The sets have hardly moved and we understand that Julie De Fina And Jackie van Beekthe creators, wanted to ensure the tribute until the end.

This version of The Office will air on Prime Video in Australia from October 18.

Clarifications that a new series derived from The Office is also planned for American television. Currently being filmed, it will be a spin-off in a small provincial newspaper, currently in development for the Peacock platform.
