Benoît Poelvoorde seeks The Art of Being Happy with Camille Cottin: trailer

A bucolic fable about an unhappy painter who decides to change his life.

Painter on the verge of a nervous breakdown. In The Art of Being Happy, Benoit Poelvoorde will try to reinvent itself thanks to Camille Cottin. A tender and offbeat comedy by the Belgian director of Tokyo Fiancée, Stefan Liberskiwho will also lead a Francois Damiens in great shape, judging by the trailer (below) that has just been released online. Gustave Kervern will also be in the cast.

Benoit Poelvoorde will play Jean-Yves Machond”a world-famous and generally unhappy painter, one day decides to change his life” details the synopsis. “It seeks inspiration in a small Normandy town, in order to design a masterpiece that will finally earn him glory and eternal recognition. But his encounter with local artists, from the warm Bagnoule to the skillful Cécile, will make him deviate somewhat from his path, and confront him with his deepest dream: that of being a happy man, quite simply.”

The Art of Being Happy will be released in theaters on October 30.
