The series on Mohamed Ali is revealed with a first teaser in the ring

Prime Video shows the first images of The Greatest, dedicated to the life of the boxing legend. Released next November.

25 years after the Michael Mann biopic with Will Smith, we get back into the ring with Mohamed Ali.

Prime Video unveils the trailer for The Greatest, a series dedicated to the boxing legend, produced with the participation of Lonnie Ali, the champion’s widow. This is the first authorized fiction series retracing the life of Mohamed Ali.

Developed by Ben Watkins (Cross) and produced by Michael B. Jordan’s Outlier Society, the series will follow the journey of Cassius Clay, from his meteoric rise in the world of boxing to his humanitarian commitment and his status as a global icon. To accompany this announcement, Prime Video revealed a first teaser. The footage shows a young Cassius Clay training tirelessly with one goal in mind: to become the youngest heavyweight champion of the world in history.

The main role is given to Jaalen Best, seen in All American: Homecoming and Magnum PI. He will notably opposite Michael Ealy, Dana Gourrier, Amin Joseph and Kai Parham.

Prime Video has announced that The Greatest will premiere on November 4, 2026.
