Avengers Doomsday: Doctor Doom and the X-Men are revealed in a new official image
Robert Downey Jr.’s mask finally appears clearly. This official illustration also offers a first glimpse of the main X-Men returning to the MCU.

This is what emerges from the brand new official image ofAvengers: Doomsdayrevealed by Marvel Studio this weekend.
Andy Park, former director of visual development at the studio, posted a never-before-seen illustration of the blockbuster online. Produced while he was still overseeing Marvel’s art teams, this image reveals for the first time the full designs of several highly anticipated characters.

The main attraction is undoubtedly Doctor Doom.
After several teasers, the mask worn by Robert Downey Jr. finally appears in its entirety, offering the best look yet at the film’s big bad.
The illustration also allows us to discover the first visuals of the X-Men who will make their return to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in particular Diablo (Alan Cumming), the Beast (Kelsey Grammer) and Mystique (Rebecca Romijn), so far absent from the promotional images. Also at the center of the composition is a mysterious depiction of Loki (Tom Hiddleston), whose role in the plot remains shrouded in secrecy.
In sharing this illustration, Andy Park explained that this was the last feature film he led visual development on at Marvel Studios. The designer left the studio last April as part of Disney’s layoffs, ending sixteen years of collaboration during which he worked on more than forty MCU films.
Avengers: Doomsday will be released in cinemas in France on December 16.
