Coyote vs. Acme: the completely crazy trailer for the cursed film

After having slumbered for a long time in Warner Bros. limbo, Coyote vs. Acme is finally preparing its arrival on the big screen.

Taking advantage of Comic-Con 2026, Ketchup Entertainment, the company that secured the distribution of the film, has just revealed the final trailer for this legal comedy like no other, which pits the famous Coyote from Looney Tunes against the Acme company, responsible for all his catastrophic inventions.

The story follows Wile E. Coyote, who this time decides not to pursue Bip Bip anymore, but to directly attack the company that supplied him with defective products for years. To seek redress, he teams up with Kevin Avery (played by Will Forte), a billboard lawyer, and Paige Avery (Lana Condor). Facing them stands Buddy Crane, played by John Cena, Acme’s star lawyer, ready to do anything to protect the company’s reputation. In the trailer, he first attempts to buy the Coyote’s silence with a huge sum of money. But the animal refuses and burns the check before its eyes…

Directed by Dave Green (Ninja Turtles 2), Coyote vs. Acme is written by Samy Burch, with a screenplay also reworked by James Gunn and Jeremy Slater.

The film will be entitled to its first public screening this weekend at Comic-Con before its American theatrical release on August 28, 2026. A strong moment because the film had been thrown in the trash by Warner, after being shot, sacrificed on the altar of the studio’s savings (in the same way as Batgirl)… It was saved recently and will therefore be clearly visible.

In France, no release date has yet been announced. The film could ultimately not go through the cinema box and arrive directly in streaming.
