Slow Horses Season 6 Trailer Contains a Huge Surprise
An unexpected character will return…
While Jack Lowden is now well placed in the race to become the next James Bond, he will first have to get out of Slough House alive.
Apple has just revealed the trailer for season 6 of Slow Horses, which premieres September 16 on Apple TV.
We will obviously find the brilliant misanthropic spy Jackson Lamb, still played by Gary Oldman.
In this new season, the Slow Horses will have to flee after being dragged by Diana Taverner (Kristin Scott Thomas) into a dangerous game of retaliation and revenge. A new mission which should once again put their nerves and their survival to the test.
The cast also includes Saskia Reeves, Christopher Chung, Aimee-Ffion Edwards, Rosalind Eleazar, Joanna Scanlan and Samuel West. Jonathan Pryce will also return, while Hugo Weaving will return to the role of Frank Harkness, River Cartwright’s father.
But the real surprise of this season lies elsewhere. Olivia Cooke is back in the role of Sidonie “Sid” Baker, as this trailer already reveals.
An unexpected return to say the least since his character was supposed to have been killed at the end of the first season. The star of House of the Dragon is therefore resurrected in this sixth round and should be at the heart of one of the great mysteries of the season.
This new adventure will adapt Joe Country and Slough House, the sixth and seventh novels in the saga imagined by Mick Herron. It will be made up of six episodes, with a first date set for September 16, then a new episode every Wednesday until October 21.
