Beef: Netflix lifts the veil on season 2 carried by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan

We finally know a little more about season 2 of Beef, expected on the platform from April 16.

Netflix has released first images online which show Charles Melton lifting weights, Cailee Spaeny worried in a hospital bed, Oscar Isaac in a golf cart, while Carey Mulligan considers… a facelift.

The Emmy Award-winning anthology series this time plunges into the ultra-elitist world of a country club, where subtle games of favors, manipulation and pressure revolve around its owner, a Korean billionaire.

Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny play Austin and Ashley, a young couple employed by the club who witness a violent altercation between their boss and his wife, Josh and Lindsay, played by Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan.

This new season of Beef also welcomes Yuh-Jung Youn, Oscar winner for Minari, in the role of Madame Park, as well as Song Kang-ho, revealed in Parasite, who plays Dr. Kim.

The season will consist of 8 30-minute episodes. Creator Lee Sung Jin returns as showrunner and executive producer.

Beef is the first Netflix series produced by the A24 studio.
