The latest victim of The Walking Dead recounts his death… spoiled by Andrew Lincoln!

“So, how do you feel about the fact that you're going to die soon on the show?”

It's been a long time since we've had a historic victim to deplore in The Walking Dead. Cast in the franchise for 7 years, appearing in various series – first in Walking DeadThen World Beyond and finally in The Ones Who LivePollyanna McIntosh said goodbye to the saga this week. Spoiler alert!

In episode 5, Jadis was killed, eaten by zombies before being shot down by Rick, whom she had come to track down on behalf of the CRM. The actress also says (via EW) that it is also Andrew Lincoln who told her that she was going to die:

“I arrived on the set of The Ones Who Live on the first day and I ran into Andy, who said to me: 'So, how do you feel about the fact that you're going to die soon on the show?' he's a producer, he knows things that I don't know. I thought that was cool. It's always exciting to be on The Walking Dead, because you know you're going to die at some point given, and when it finally happened for me, I was happy to be able to have Jadis give a farewell speech. I thought it was great.”

In this speech, Jadis decides to give a little help to Rick and Michonne, whom she ultimately wants to save. “She had a moment of clarity”, explain Pollyanna McIntosh. Gabriel had told her who she really was, and she ended up believing it. She ultimately believed that her goal was to let these people live. She is at peace. She did her best. And it reminds her of a time when she didn't need to think about those things, when she was an artist.”

So what mark will Jadis alias Anne leave in The Walking Dead ? Initially rotten from the dump, she experienced a certain redemption before saving Rick after the explosion of the bridge and taking the gallon on the CRM side. A rather unique fate in the saga: “Heroine or villain, it depends on your point of view. In World Beyond, she says she was an ambitious survivor. I think she was that, an ambitious survivor who did her best.”
